Knightmare Returns, See It Here

You've come for an adventure, have you? You might want to wake up Treguard.

Knightmare, the British TV series that pit geeky teens against the dungeon of their dreams, returned to YouTube [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/126268-British-Revive-Knightmare-TV-Adventure-Show-For-One-Week-Only] for one show only. The hero can hold his breath for ten minutes, his helpers are a wannabe dragon, a bad-tempered shrewd person, and someone who's really good in life or death situations. Not a bad combination, but deals with Sylvester the Jester could be their downfall. You'll have to watch to find out.

The original Knightmare ran from the late 1980s to the mid 1990s, and this remake features the original Treguard, Hugo Myatt, as well as Jessie Cave (Theodora Snitch) and comedian Isy Suttie as Veruca (or Daisy, if you'd rather). Blind as a bat, our hero wanders the dungeon using his companions' eyes to figure out where to go, a tactic that sometimes works and sometimes not so much. Still, so long as he can avoid getting eaten by Ariadne all should be well. Or maybe not; Theodora's got a plan, but it may end up with Beefy steaks on the grill.

So, this is what it means to be a geek, eh? Still wishing it was me in that helmet, but we can't have everything we want. In the meantime, living vicariously has its benefits!

Wow I had mostly forgotten this show seeing how when I read the title, I thought it was that Soul Calibur character! Oh man, this bring back alot of memories since I used to watch it with my bro when I was little! Also yes to the newer generations on here, the show was that dirky but awesome at the same time!

I was hoping Ashens would snark a bit more, but having never seen the show before (except for a video by Spoony), I do think it would be neat if this new revival caught enough momentum to keep the series going. It seems quite fun! As the Captcha says, 'never give up'!

This show was a must watch when i was a kid. Also me and friends would have arguments over who would be wearing the helmet if we got chosen to go on the show. lol. Imagine if they remade this show now with the graphics we have? Would be an amazing show.

Oh wow. I guess Youtube isn't playing around with Geek Week. I don't have the time to watch this right now but I'll no doubt get to this sooner than later.

Oh man, Knightmare was awesome :D
Though I can't remember seeing an episode where the team won it XD

I second a modern revival. With gaming and geekery being more widely prevalent now, and special effects being so much more advanced... <3
