South Korean national Starcraft champs should be brought in for military tactical advising.

OK whats the build order to deal with the 4-6 million dead in Seoul from the NKs opening chemical artillery barge. The short range missiles will start to fall on major South Korean ports, again armed with chemical weapons, thats another 2 million dead. 20 - 30 seconds later the missiles start falling on Japan, another 2 million gone. 40 minutes later the long range missiles start landing on the west coast, this time with 20-30 kiloton nukes. Seattle, LA, San Francisco and San Diego are hit. They are only small nukes thats only 500000 dead each, so only another 2 million gone. The war is only 1 hour old and 12 are million dead. It really isn't Star Craft.
Yup. That's what happens when you take a pessimistic literal approach to a statement meant for enjoyment and fun. Congratulations, you are officially depressing.

In any event, I'm referring specifically to their management skills, trained reaction time, and ability to develop multi-level attack/defend strategies on the fly.

But no, you're right. WAR ISN'T REALLY STARCRAFT.

Thanks.

Press: What is the government doing about the lack of jobs and the current economic failure?

Obama: This isn't Sim City.
Oooooo

Seriously though, it's amazing that George Bush drives into this hole and people are complaining more about how Obama is getting us out of it too slowly.

How about the fact that it's getting better? That's lost on most people.
Getting out slowly? How about digging deeper? That's lost on some people.
Oh, right, I forgot that people like you don't look at facts or evidence

Take a look at this chart on lost jobs from 2007 to present

You can actually see the outrageous loss of jobs under the Bush administration slow to a halt.

Bush started with JOBS BEING GAINED and steadily increased the rate of lost jobs till the end of his presidency, when Obama came in and brought the runaway collapse of the economy to halt.

I can't wait to hear you argue that people having jobs isn't an important part of an economy being healthy.

Oh, I forgot that people like you think the President does everything, including dictate how the economy works. The economy works in cycles, sometimes good, sometimes bad, but reacts to things like insane debt and tax increases like a bacterial colony hit with antibiotics.

We're going to have to answer for trillions of dollars in excess debt, starting about now. It will probably be in the form of higher taxes and federal job losses (already starting today with a federal job freeze). But don't let that fact bother you. Continue to cite Obama showing up as a magical panacea for the economy, blah blah... Can't wait to hear you argue that... well I don't know what you will argue.

EDIT :

I would like to point out that those numbers, which are just estimates, come from the White House and White House appointees, who I'm sure have no vested interest in the matter. Take that as you will.

I'm confused.

You do Realize its NORTH KOREA? They are still using equipment from before the 50's. their missile program is an utter joke and when a whole company of men only has ONE set of cold weather gear it just makes things pathetic. Most of their veihicles have been sitting in caves for 30+ years and hasn't been turned on (let alone repaired) since then. Yes they have a million man army but when that army is North Korea versus the UN their pretty much fucked.

OT: This just made my day

I think SK and NK should have a Starcraft-off every year to diffuse rising tensions.

No, I am not joking.

I don't think the president does everything, I do think the stimulus created the jobs needed to cause the halt as shown in the graph, and you are completely right that the economy reacts heavily to things like debt and taxes, it's strange you should say that, because under Obama's current policies things are improving (as you can again see by the graph). It's strange that you say it "works in cycles" as an argument in essence saying "Obama didn't improve it, and Bush didn't destroy it, it's a cycle" and then immediately poise yourself to blame Obama for the way you think the economy is going to turn by saying it "reacts to things like insane debt and tax increases like a bacterial colony hit with antibiotics." So you attribute anything good that happens to cycles and anything bad that might happen to Obama's policies, double standard much? Jesus, that argument wouldn't hold up in an elementary school.

We're going to have to answer for trillions of dollars in excess debt, starting about now. It will probably be in the form of higher taxes and federal job losses (already starting today with a federal job freeze). But don't let that fact bother you.
Funny you should use the word "fact" in that quote, it looked like a bunch of opinion based rhetoric with you using phrases like "about now" and "probably in the form of". Not only do I see a bunch of predictions and vague phrases, but I don't see any evidence or citations for a single one of these wild pieces of speculation. So yeah, I certainly won't worry about that fact rambling.

Lastly, the chart came from the office of the Speaker for the House (for the love of god man, you didn't have to look far, it's in the BOTTOM RIGHT CORNER OF THE GRAPH FOR CHRIST'S SAKE!), and not the white house, what happened? Did you see the word "house" and immediately assume it was the White House? The Speaker for the House is not part of nor appointed by the White House, so the entire statement is complete crap.

I don't mean to be offensive, but I get very annoyed when people dismiss evidence as coming from a biased source that it did not come from, and then counter with a vague opinion with no cited supporting evidence, it's exactly this sort of ignorance that is being fed to people through Fox News, and if someone posts it, I WILL counter it to the very best of my ability using actual cited evidence.

WAAAAAH! We need to politicize a completely unrelated comment to American politics. You guys are silly. So I'll be even sillier!

British Air Advisor: The Germans are sending their entire Luftwaffe forces after us! What are we to do?!

Churchill: What!? This isn't a game of X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter!

Isn't that stupid? That's what I thought.
