League of Legends Celebrates Halloween With New Skins

Celebrate The Harrowing in League of Legends with new skins, and the return of some legacy skins.

The Harrowing is League of Legends' annual Halloween event, and this time Riot has pulled out all the stops, giving us a new cinematic, along with the usual new skins, summoner icons, and temporary return of legacy skins. There's also a big sale on all past Halloween content, including the limited-edition Halloween themed-ward skins. First, check out the cinematic to the right.

Next up, Underworld Wukong and Ravenborn LeBlanc join the every growing pool of Halloween themed skins. Underworld Wukong is available for 1350 RP (on sale for 975 RP through October 28), while Ravenborn LeBlanc will be available for 975 RP all the way through till November 4, when both skins will go into the legacy vault. A new gamemode - Hexakill Twisted Treeline - will be temporarily made available, and a trio of new summoner icons will go along with it. Hexakill doubles the number of champions on the Twisted Treeline, bringing twelve champions to League's most close-quartered map.

Next up, the Haunted Hoard Harrowing Sale [http://na.leagueoflegends.com/en/news/store/sales/haunted-hoard-harrowing-sale] bundles all previous Halloween content into bundles of various sizes and prices. There will also be "flash sales," where six random skins will go on sale at the store for just six hours - so you'll have to keep an eye on the store to see which ones they are.

Lastly, Mystery Gifting [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/130031-League-of-Legends-Lets-You-Lucky-Dip-With-Mystery-Skins] returns, and Mystery Gifts sent to friends have a double chance to be Harrowing content.

Pfffft, who cares about LeBlanc and Wukong? I've been waiting a good long while to get bed-sheet ghost Nocturne and he's finally back on the market!

I do wish that they came out with a new skin for my main man Karthus, though...then again, considering what he is, all his skins are Halloween themed.

They've been doing impermanent game-modes for the last year. It's not that shocking and none of them stick around, despite being entertaining. It's their solution to the map problem they always dread approaching because of reasons not worth discussing here right now.

Yeah, saw this. Will probably play Hexakill, but I still miss Halloween Summoner's Rift and its decorations. That thing was awesome.

I miss getting candies instead of gold. But it is highly unlikely to come back, i guess.

Finally was able to get haunted Maokai and bed sheet nocturne. I personally hate playing Nocturne but I always thought that'd be a good skin to have if I ever came round on the champ. Maokai on the otherhand is a beast and deserves a cool skin.
