It was announced a few days ago that the 2nd new special infected for Left 4 Dead 2 would be the spitter. As the name suggests, the spitter is able to spit a huge gob of...something at the survivors. Apon hitting it causes damage over time. However, this isn't the only way to attack survivors. Once a the green spit lands on the ground it turns red, causing damage over time in a small area, kind of like a molotov. This was made as another attempt to stop survivors bunching up in a corner, as the Spitter can flush them out.
Now, there was footage that came with this announcement of the next campaign (it's set in a swamp). Though we saw the spitters attack in the distance, we never got a good look at the thing itself.
Well, I've found a picture. Seriously, if your of a nervous disposition you don't want to open this. This is by far the most disgusting Special infected of the lot, and possibley the most hilarious.
