I loved the original Okami. I played the PS2 version. But now I'm concerned if this will make Okamiden difficult or awkward to play due to drawing on the touch screen as a left handed person. Do you have to use the D-pad and draw at the same time? If so, are the shapes simple enough that it wouldn't be a problem with a south-paw? Or is there some sort of lefty mode? Thanks.

As far as I see, no, there is no lefty mode in Okamiden. However, unlike Okami, the Celestial Brush screen can be toggled by a one button press of either L or R buttons, rather than held (Can be both, actually). Within that screen, you have 30 seconds (15 in battle) to draw what's needed, which is basically the same as the icons in Okami, save for constellations, which are more like trace jobs. I don't think it'd be too much of a problem, but then again, I'm right-handed, so I can't really be a good confirming source. Hope this is somewhat helpful, though.

So the action is paused when you pull up the celestial brush screen? If so being south-paw won't be a problem. Thanks for the input.
