Legend of Chun-Li Withheld From Critics

Have there been any movies that have been withheld from critics and still done well or got good reviews?

I've seen some clips of it over at IGN and it looks absolutely terrible, even worse than the first Street Fighter film.

The dialogue sounds like it's from a porn film, but without the talent (or promise of sex).

Rather than withhold it from critics they should burn all copies and pretend it was stolen, at least they'd get a bit of money from the insurance, save face and not make Uwe Boll look like Stanley Kubrick.

The worst one of those videos is the one with the screen writer, the way he's talking about the film like he thinks it's really good and how he has the gall to criticise the previous film (after making this piece of shit).

There has never been a more suitable time to quote Mr T, "I Pity the Fool", I truly truly pity him. May God have mercy on his feeble disillusioned soul.

This only strengthens the case for Street Fighter: The Later Years [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kLrWgVPeCzI] being the best live action Street Fighter film to date.

I never have any hope for video game movies. And this has put my faith in the negatives.

Except the Halo movie has peaked my interest, especially considering Peter Jackson's crazy interest in it.

I think "The Invisible" was withheld, and some critics loved it...
