I love this. Last year, the narrative was "DC would never have the guts to do something as gloriously cheesy as a movie abut a talking raccoon and a giant tree who can only say his name!" This year, "Oh no, DC's too cheesy! They could never compete with the glorious grimdarkness of Daredevil!"

I'll take camp and cheese over relentless, brooding darkness. I've enjoyed the combination of Flash and Arrow more than anything else DC has produced in recent years other than the Dark Knight trilogy. Legends of Tomorrow will definitely suffer from a lower budget and have problems with campiness, but I'm pretty okay with it compared to what it could have been.

Marvel still wins in my book, even if Legends of Tomorrow winds up being the best thing ever, but nobody is saying we can only like one of the two companies.

That... actually looks pretty awesome. I've been following the Flash all season, I should probably start following Arrow too.
