To celebrate the NES's 35th anniversary, Nintendo and LEGO teamed up to make an NES LEGO set.

That's pretty damn sweet. Not "$229.99" sweet, but sweet nonetheless. Why are Legos always so friggin' expensive? I get the intense and brilliant engineering that goes into creating the more complex sets like this, but hell, I can get an actual used NES for less than $100

I mean, this is cute and all but I can get an NES mini that plays actual games for less.

But if you really want a grey and white box and old timey TV non-playable NES Lego set, its your money.

I can't say I'm immune to LEGOs charms though, ever since things like this and this showed up.

That's neat, but can it run Doom?

Also, 300 bucks is steep.

It’s a cute collectible for die hards, not terribly unlike that amazing Saturn rocket. Mind that at least looks like $300+ worth of LEGO.
