Seemed like a fair interpretation of what was said.
It's deliberate misinformation.

First, why ask that question at all? To generate click-bait crap. If he says "yes, we intend to vaccinate undocumented workers", they post a headline and make a big deal out of it. If he says "no, we're not vaccinating undocumented workers", they still post a headline and make a big deal out of it. He chose path C, deny the premise of the question, and they still pretend he answered their question in a way to make headlines.

Second, if he's asked "will you be vaccinating undocumented workers at these plants" and his response is essentially "we're operating under the assumption that there are no undocumented workers at these plants", the obvious implication is they plan to vaccinate everyone, otherwise the answer doesn't make sense. if the answer was meant to mean "we're going to screen out non-citizens from this program", why would you bring up that they're shouldn't be any non-citizens in the plants? How does one take "there shouldn't be any, so we don't expect to" and amend "therefore we're going to use our resources to screen out the people we don't expect to be there" to it? That's a silly thing.

The real tragedy will be if the artificial controversy scares people away from vaccination. For clicks.

Because meat packing plants are hit hard by covid, and are known to have alot of undocumented migrant workers, so it's obviously a fair question.

You're acting as though press conference questions are simply curiosities? That isn't the case. Questions are asked with design and purpose. A reporter doesn't accidentally assert that mass lawbreaking is going on, that the governor is obviously aware of it, and imply he would use the pandemic to punish such lawbreakers within the premise of the question. That was designed to cause trouble.

For the record, I recognized the list when he tried to claim Trump brought religion back into government, cause lol wat?

This sort of thing...
He's so religious that he had a crowd teargassed to hold a photo-op with an upside-down bible in front of a church. Just like his evangelical base, he's the epitome of a pharisee.

Oddly, I've seen Biden in Church more times while he was running for the office than I have ever seen Trump... ever.

And wait. Religion is all Religion. Didn't Trump's Administration basically label Islam an enemy like the first couple of days he was in office?

Here's an article comparing Trump to other historically awful presidents such as Harding and Buchanan. He's not coming off very well.

There is no way he’s worse than Johnson or Buchanan. It’s impossible.

Sure, I'll reflect. Ok, done. My most memorable Trump moment has to be this one:

What kind of backwards fucking pageantry is that?
Notice the wooden block on the desk next to his phone with a metal button in the middle.

That's his diet Coke buzzer. Seriously. He pressed that and a butler swiftly arrived with one on a platter.

A silver platter, and people say he did that like 12 times a day, which can't be healthy.

Oooh...Pepsi can run with this.

Well, damn sight healthier than 12 cans of normal Coke, which is asking for obesity and diabetes.

Coke is relatively low caffeine (about half as much as an equivalent size tea or coffee), but that's still quite a lot. Also would play hell with your teeth. Very acidic.

The epitome of Trump's administration....
In one of his final acts in office, in the wee hours of the night, President Trump revoked Executive Order 13770, an order on ethics he signed when he first took office, freeing the way for people who have served in his administration to cash in with lobbying gigs.

When Trump signed the order on Jan. 28, 2017, he hailed it as a fulfillment of his campaign promise to "drain the swamp." Among other things, it banned administration officials from lobbying the agencies where they worked for a full five years after the termination of their employment.
...

Trump's reversal isn't unprecedented. In the final weeks of his presidency, former President Bill Clinton revoked his administration's ethics order, something he was criticized for doing. One of the people who knocked that move was none other than candidate Donald Trump. "He rigged the system on his way out," Trump said of Clinton's move in a 2016 statement.

Trump has now done the same thing he was so critical of five years ago.

Saw a bunch of people on Instagram celebrating the Bannon pardoning. The fact that cons will go that deep into going against their own self interest just to stick it to libs is genuinely amazing to me. Like every single trump supporter who is happy about Bannon's pardon is dumber than a bag of rocks raised on a diet of lead paint. Like honestly, what does trump have to do to show these cretins he's not on their side? His entire real estate career didn't do it. His scam university didn't do it. And now pardoning someone for the crime of scamming his own supporters didn't do it.

I mean, he was never about draining the swamp. That order was only about getting Obama. I was hoping he forgot about it and we could just keep living without that revolving door
