Saw a bunch of people on Instagram celebrating the Bannon pardoning. The fact that cons will go that deep into going against their own self interest just to stick it to libs is genuinely amazing to me. Like every single trump supporter who is happy about Bannon's pardon is dumber than a bag of rocks raised on a diet of lead paint. Like honestly, what does trump have to do to show these cretins he's not on their side? His entire real estate career didn't do it. His scam university didn't do it. And now pardoning someone for the crime of scamming his own supporters didn't do it.
What do you expect from people who think a billionaire socialite is an enemy to the elites?

He's an asshole and a bully who's a shitty businessman, a worse president and an even worse human being.

I think one of the most dispiriting things about the Trump era is exposing quite how shitty a businessman he is, and yet him still sitting around with both the billions and the reputation.

I was prepared to credit him with being reasonably successful in 2016 (even despite his late 80s - early 90s crash), but I wasn't by 2020 seeing as it turns out he's staved off many hundreds of millions more losses with yet more tax breaks and Apprentice merchandising since the mid-2000s as well.

Socialism for the rich, as they say. You just think how much some people shit a brick over the destitute getting a few thousand for medical bills, and yet seem to shrug when Trump erases a couple of billion in losses at taxpayer expense. Whilst he may be a particularly grotesque example, we all know that every other member of the super-rich has these write-offs, too. It's not right. I understand a reasonable expectation of privacy, but on the other hand someone as chronically useless as Trump should not really be allowed to fail repeatedly without people having more awareness just who they're dealing with.
