As the title says, Shudder is a great streaming service if you are a fan of horror movies. They have just about any subgenre you can think of represented, along with original shows. It's basically Netflix, if it was purely focused on horror. It's only available in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, New Zealand, and Australia, unfortunately. On the plus side, it is very cheap, costing $5.99 a month, or $56.99 a year.

It would take me forever to list what's currently on Shudder, so instead, I'll use this thread to update with each month's releases.

The Black Cat, Frankenstein, Bride of Frankenstein, The Mummy, Son of Frankenstein, House of Frankenstein, The Black Cat, The Old Dark House
Tales From the Hood
Tales From the Hood 2
Tales From the Crypt: Demon Knight
Tales From the Crypt: Bordello of Blood
Cherry Falls
Roh
Queen of the Damned

The Last Winter
Blood Glacier

Slapface (Shudder Original)

Entwined
Fragile
Rock, Paper, Scissors

I Blame Society

All the Moons (Shudder Original)

I Am a Ghost
Corporate Animals
Knocking

Silent Retreat
Eat, Brains, Love

They Live in the Grey (Shudder Original)

My housemate has a shudder subscription, and honestly it's been extremely worthwhile. Like, there was a time a few months ago when I would have rated it above Netflix in terms of the quality of content, and although Netflix seems to have pulled itself together a bit recently the film selection on shudder is extremely good if you like horror.

I've been interested in Shudder for a couple of years, but I'm a little wary of signing up to services I may get little use from.

Can you d/l movies onto a device and play them with Shudder, or do you have to stream them live? That may be more useful for me.

It's just streaming. It really is basically Netflix for horror movies except it's not going downhill at light speed with its cancellation decisions.
