Okay, if you know me, you know I love Final Fantasy 7, and to a lesser extent, I love the movie that spawned from it, Advent Children.

Say what you want about the plot, voice actors, etc, but you have to admit the action scenes in this movie are top choice! So, for the last few months, I've been trying to look for a game that simulates that kind of action. Bayonetta does it pretty well, as it blends an interactive and cinematic experience in an incredible fashion.

So, fellow Escapists, any games in mind that has some intense, over the top action? I've already got God of War 3 in mind.

Get Devil May Cry 3. Like, right the Hell now. If you can't find that, get DMC4. If you can't find that, then only God can help you.

Well, considering you're a Final Fantasy fan, I'd recommend Dissidia, if you don't already have it, and Crisis Core.

Mostly because Dissidia got mixed reviews from my friends and they say Crisis Core is all round the more enjoyable game...

But yeah, that's only two and I'd wager you've probably got them...

You can try out Devil May Cry...that was fun.

if you don't mind turn based, random encounter combat (though seeing as you like FF VII you probably don't) Golden Sun is great, especially The Lost Age

If you're looking for Turn-Based combat, Skies of Arcadia: Legends wasn't a bad one. If you planned your attacks right, some of the combos reached near-Game Breaker levels...

If you're looking for something more action-oriented, though, I must suggest Okami based upon the fact that Bayonetta and DMC were mentioned above, and Okami was made by the same people responsible for both of them.

They're suggestions, at least.
