It was nice, but i was expecting someone or something else.
The pacman one was pretty original, I'll give it to them. And the Mario one was pretty cool.
But still. I'm not sure what i expected...maybe some characters from newer games?

I could actually see link working well in a Mortal Kombat game to be honest. Sword and shield as his main method of fighting and tons of items for all his special attacks. Hookshot would be like Scorpion's spear thing, bow and arrow for ranged attack(fire arrows maybe), boomerang for something more tricky to dodge.

It was more than a spin off, and a great game nonetheless. Anyone that played Ghouls and Ghosts would love Maximo I think...Maximo wasn't quite as hard though lol

Considering Link has already shown up in Soul Calibur, I think it's safe to say he has already proven he can work in fighting games outside of Smash Brothers. I do feel a bit ripped off we didn't actually get to see Pac Man's fighting skills in action though.
