My favorite games!

Deus Ex: Human Revolution
Final Fantasy 7, 8 and, 9
Guitar Hero: Metallica
Hyrule Warriors
Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past
Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga
Mega Man X2
New Super Mario Bros DS
Pokemon...uh...Soul Silver I guess...yeah, I'll stick with that one
Saint's Row 2
Super Mario 3D World
Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call
Well, I haven't played them all, but *cracks knuckles* here I go.

Final Fantasy 7:
One of my favorite titles of all time. Every "level" tends to advance the story, and all of the characters are great. It's what I would call epic story telling on a level none of the other FF games can match. It's also one of the last great sendoffs of FF's original creator, his Magnum Opus, and a lovely epitaph for his dead mother. A real masterpiece.

Final Fantasy 8:
Not bad, but not seven. A good idea with decent characters, but the plot began to fall apart at the end. The twists were silly, and so were the motivations of some of the characters. I was mad that Squall forgot about his sister even though she frequently visited him, and I was mad at laguna for somehow forgetting about the daughter of the woman he loved. That was unforgivable. The battle system was also a little wonky. The music and visuals were great for the time, though.

Metallica: haven't played it, but it's metallica. Great taste.

Link to the Past:
The perfection of the classic Zelda style. I didn't experience until after OoT, but it was a fantastic classic title. Distinctly different compared to modern Zelda.

Megaman X2: I'm an X4 man myself, but X2 had great gameplay and an awesome soundtrack. I miss Megaman : (

My List:
Final Fantasy 7
Silent Hill 2
Dark Souls
Persona 3&4

My List:
Final Fantasy 7
A very good game. Well-written story, solid gameplay, and one of the best protagonists I've ever seen in any work of fiction - Cloud gets a lot of sh!t that I don't really think he deserves, mainly for making the sullen protagonist be considered the norm for Final Fantasy games. I should really play it again, and not just blaze through the main plot like I did when I played it.

Silent Hill 2
Never played it, but I've heard good things about it. Horror's just not really my thing.

Dark Souls
I really should get around to playing this at some point... *Goes and does other things instead*

Persona 3&4
More great games. I'm torn about which I prefer, between the two; although 3 does a lot of things that I really like, for some reason I think I just prefer 4 overall. Also, both games have some of the best soudtracks I've ever heard in games (BABY BABY BABY BABY BABY BABY BABY BABY BABY BABY BABY BABY BABY BABY BABY...)
My favourite games:

Xenoblade Chronicles
Persona 4 (Golden, in case anyone cares which version I played)
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
Mass Effect 2
Final Fantasy 9
Knights of the Old Republic
Super Mario RPG
Okami
Mother 3

Xenoblade Chronicles: haven't played yet, but my friend is obsessed with, gonna give it a try
Persona 4 (Golden, in case anyone cares which version I played): have only played the ps2 version, but this game is probably tied for my first favourite jrpg
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Weaker: I feel guilty about this one, I've started it and gotten to Hyrule Castle, but the open world just kinda upsets my experience of a Zelda game :/
Mass Effect 2: best of the trilogy by far, but there was some serious gimping of bionics classes
Final Fantasy 9: the other jrpg in my first place tie, the soundtrack, story and charming visuals makes this my favourite ff game
Knights of the Old Republic: I'm sorry but I have never played it !
Super Mario RPG: sure look, Mario is great, RPG's are great. Its a win win !
Okami: the artwork, the Zelda-esque game play and the brush mechanics made this game rock my socks !
Mother 3: haven't played it, but aim to change that :)

Played through the PC version. I honestly Demons Souls better.

Chrono Trigger

I'll replay this someday. Preferably not the PSX version.

Gta san Andreas

Definitely the best of the series, at least until GTAV.

Alien Hominid ps2

Played the flash original to death, but I never had a chance to play a console version.

Civilization 3

Probably my least favourite of the series (I never played Revolution, or much of Beyond Earth).

Zelda Majora's mask

I wish they would make another 'dark' Zelda game.

Scrutinize This:

Super Metroid
Front Mission 3
Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne
Xenoblade Chronicles
Final Fantasy V
Neverwinter Nights: Hoards of the Underdark
Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater
Shadow of the Colossus
Umineko no Naku Koro ni

Hunter the Reckoning

I played a demo of that on PS2. It was kind of fun. Kind of Gauntlet-ish...

Worms Armageddon

Is it wrong that I can never tell the difference between any of these games (besides the ugly original)?

Oblivion

Certainly had it's moments, but between Morrowind and Skyrim, I don't think I'll ever want to play this one again...

Counter Strike

I was more of a TFC junkie back in the day.

ME 1 and 2

AKA The good ones.

Fallout 3

I liked NV better, but that didn't stop me from dumping 40 hours into this.

Mr Bones (might have to google this one)

Super Metroid
Gave me chronic headaches, found it exploration tedious, combat and platforming was fun, got lost and gave up.

Xenoblade Chronicles
Combat could do some sprucing up, voice acting sounds like it was done on ransom(and it was), world is beautiful, lore is interesting, and collectables!
Final Fantasy V
I like the job system.

Shadow of the Colossus
I like the atmosphere, I liked the empty world, boss fights were intense, hunting geckos was a pain in the ass.
My turn!

Pokémon omega ruby
Vampire the masquerade: bloodlines
Ape escape: pumped and prime
The Bard's tale
Grimgrimoire
Zeno Clash

Zeno Clash: Pass...

The Last Story: Played a bit of it on my friend's Wii... Wish I could have played more of it, though...

Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World: Despite being iffy on this sequel, I did grew to like it almost as much as the first Symphonia game...

Mugen Souls: Based on which company made this game, I'm sure it's a blast to play... Otherwise, I got nothing...

Persona 3 FES: Nope, didn't like it I'm sorry.

Super Smash Bros.: Haha yessss, definatly in my top 5. I still whip out the gamecube and play it.. Oh wait are you talking about the original? I liked them both but I preferred melee.

Super Smash Bros. Melee - Not into the SSB series. Played it with friends, was alright, I guess.

Cod 4 multiplayer- Don't really do multiplayer. Campaign was alright.

Alan wake- Meh...

Evil within- Played it right after Alien Isolation, so it felt like Baby's First Survival Horror.

Skyrim- Bought it, bought all the DLC... have spent about five minutes with it.

TC Rainbow six 2- Best in the series, by far.

Mario Kart double dash- Again, Mario Kart not really my thing. Same as SSB, fun with friends, but feh...

SCP: Containment Breach- Never played it.

Dishonored- I have the Mark of the Outsidet tattooed on my left hand, so you tell me ;)

Injustice- It was ok. Scorpion is OP!

As for my selections:

War Thunder
Dishonored
Deus Ex: Human Revolution
Bioshock
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow
WipEout
Close Combat: The Russian Front
Ghost Master
Alice: Madness Returns

And that will do for now.

War Thunder: I'm not great at it, but not the worst. The best I can say is that the game works fine.

Dishonored: Strangely bored of it, but first-person stealth games aren't my thing. And I'm sick of steam punk/Victorian
settings.

Dues Ex: I haven't played it yet, but watched the Spoiler Warning season which showed a fun game with minor story issues.

Bioshock: Fun, quirky, good game.

Castlevania LoS: 3D action gameplay done right.

WipEout: Never heard of it.

Close Combat RF: Holy hell I love and hate the close combat games. They're fun, but they can get tough, especially with moral and the worry of units stressing and ignoring orders.

Ghost Master: Never heard of it.

Alice: Only played the first, but it was a lot of fun. Can only imagine what they've done for the second game.

Age of Empires 2:
This brings me back. While I didn't play 2 as much as the first, this was one of my favorite way to waste time in the summer when I was home from Uni. The concept was proven, the gameplay felt simple enough that I wouldn't have to bash my head against it if I didn't want to and after a long and tiring day it was a nicely paced game that kept me happy.

Age of Mythology
I actually never tried this one, though I think I hit a certain point where rts games didn't appeal to me anymore, not long after I finally got StarCraft: Brood War. I was late to the game on that one by quite a bit due to being broke while saving up for Uni.

Super Metroid
You. I like you. After being blown away by the original this game was on my must have list and have it I did. This game is one of the fore-runners of my favourite genre for a reason, and is also on my list of favorites.

Red Dead Redemption
Halo Wars
Janes USAF
Silent Thunder: A-10 Tank Killed 2

I know less about these than Jon Snow does.

StarCraft
If Age of Empires II wasted my Summers between uni, then it was only because of this game getting me into RTS at the time. This game was my unwind function for weekends where I would get together with friends and we'd lan this (and a few other games) against one another for fun.

Star Wars KOTOR
This was an odd one for me. It had everything I loved: RPG with choice. Universe I loved. Friends who played it. Yet for some reason, I didn't buy it. I avoided it for the longest time, mostly out of the fear that it wouldn't live up to all of the things I loved about it on an individual scale. It wasn't until a friend of mine literally gave it to me that I gave it a shot. Doing so cost me most of my evenings and more weekends than I'd like to admit but I'm glad it happened. Bonus, too, because I got it for free.

My list:

Megaman Zero (Series)
Final Fantasy (all of them, but my first love is IV)
Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver.
Shantae (All, but mostly the recent Pirate's Curse)
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.
Super Metroid.

Final Fantasy (all of them, but my first love is IV)

Including all the spinoffs or just the main series? Tactics Advance is phenomenal, XII's combat system felt a little clunky in an otherwise fine game, and Tidus is the cuntiest **** in the history of cunts as far as protagonists in video games go. I recently started playing the remaster of FFX, and naming Tidus "TWATCUNT" in all caps was a very entertaining choice.

Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver.

Haven't played it

That was... rather awkwardly short, but whatchagonnado? Anyways, my list includes

- Dark Souls
- Chrono Trigger
- The Last of Us
- God of War III
- Team Fortress 2 (I love the game to bits, it's the other players that make it impossible for me to play for more than an hour at a time tops)
- Bioshock
* To The Moon, but I'd barely qualify it as a game and I've only played it once. But it has the best soundtrack and story I've ever seen in a game and I was on the verge of tears multiple times on my first playthrough, so those do count a whole lot.

Those are just the most prominent ones I could think of. I don't think much about what my favorite games are, most of the time I play a game so thoroughly there's little left in it for me to experience, and I quite rarely replay games I haven't touched in a while.

- Dark Souls
I loved the feeling of dread and desolation this has. Also, the combat system is a lot of fun. I don't like how little the game tells you about important gameplay mechanics, though. If I've read the manual and all the tutorial messages, and made an honest effort to figure things out on my own, I shouldn't still have to look up basic gameplay functions on the Internet.

- Chrono Trigger
Never played.

- The Last of Us
Never played, and I don't intend to. I dislike the zombie apocalypse genre as a rule, and telling me that this game is actually mostly about interacting with/fighting other humans doesn't help (because then, why involve zombies at all?)

- God of War III
Never played.

- Team Fortress 2
Never played, but it has resulted in some wonderful Youtube videos.

- Bioshock
Never played, but it's on my to-play list.

* To The Moon, but I'd barely qualify it as a game and I've only played it once. But it has the best soundtrack and story I've ever seen in a game and I was on the verge of tears multiple times on my first playthrough, so those do count a whole lot.
Well, you just said what I was going to say.

My list:
-Minecraft (in spite of having the same problem as Dark Souls does.)
-Morrowind
-Halo 4
-DMC Devil May Cry
-The Cat Lady

Minecraft - I played it years ago. There was no tutorial on how to make items and I didn't want to just read a guide to figure out how to play the game. I have since played the mode where you have everything unlocked and that's fun for a little while.

Morrowind - I fucking love it! I recently played it properly for the first time. That is, I played for more than 5 hours and it blew my mind. The lore is fantastic and so is the story.

Halo 4, DMC, The Cat Lady - I haven't played them but they look pretty good.

My favorites are

Final Fantasy IX

Elder Scrolls IV aka Oblivion - I played some of it, though I'm not in to fantasy. Still the voice cast was a biggest selling point.

Final Fantasy IX - It's possibly the best in the series, though Final Fantasy VI gives it a good run for it's money. After VII and VIII, IX was a very welcome refresher.

I haven't played, or even looked into Planetscape Torment, or The Darkness 2.

My Favorites are:
-Fallout 2
-Super Metroid
-FTL: Faster Than Light
-Half-Life
-Fallout: New Vegas
