I already knew LBP2 had risen above the level of just a 2D platformer. Even in the game there are sidescrolling shooters, and one person even created a full scale, utterly awesome twin-stick shooter with multiple weapons, bosses, bombs, and everything (Blast Radius, if you're curious, try it out, it's awesome) that said... holy wow. This is impressive.

I don't think I could actually play this looking at it, but holy hell is that impressive if they did indeed pull it off with just the LBP tools.

Is it funny that this looks better than some of the recent AAA fps's as of late?
Which ones, exactly?

You know, this thing gets A+ for creative customization, but as a game it's F -- rather unplayable. I get a severe headache just from watching that trailer.

I have LBP2 and I have no fucking clue how this is even accomplished, I didn't think the editor even allowed you to do anything even CLOSE to that.

They really, really, really need to show how they did that.
It looks like they took a controllinator and put it on a vehicle, which moves along the wall, and took a camera control option and put it on the vehicle, and have the entire level rotate (so maybe the controllinator is on the level itself?).

If the camera controller wasnt there, it would look like a top down level, i think.

It obviously took a lot more work then that, though lol

I'm confused....
What.The.Flip?

Pretty cool 'though, there's a reason I've had Steve_Big_Guns as a hearted creator since just after I bought the first LBP.

How the hell is this sort of thing possible? Seriously, that's friggin' incredible. Must have taken ages to create all of that.
The camera is rotated 90 degrees upwards. However, since the game would have to display a much larger area, the framerate goes down so it cannot be rotated that much- unless using a camera glitch.
The yellow signs that appeared occasionally meant that the game couldn´t render the shots of the gun because there was too much stuff on screen.

Exactly, my brain is finding it hard to comprehend this was made in game? Having played LBP ,but not 2, I am flabbergasted.
<The camera is rotated 90 degrees- what seems to be forward is actually up. And what seems to be up is actually ´ínto the screen´.
