LittleBigPlanet won't start. I need help!

I've had LittleBigPlanet since Christmas, and I've yet to have any problems with it, but yesterday, it suddenly stopped working. When I start it, I get the PlayStation logo, the screen goes blank, and I get sent back to the XMB screen. I've deleted both my game data and my save data, but it doesn't go to the install screen. If anyone knows what's happening, and more importantly, how to fix it, it would be greatly appreciated.

Are you online? It might have the same problem as the multiplayer beta of Uncharted did. When the game starts up, hammer on the X button. There may be an update that should fix this issue.

Hit the PS3 wit a hammer, if no hammer is around than your fist will do.

I don't actually know. I'd call Sony, or whoever is listed on the box.

Okay I have the hammer, now whatHEY WAIT A MINUTE. That would break the PS3.

This doesn't work

Does your PS3 play other games? If no, it's a bigger issue. If yes, check your disc see how it looks. It's possible you need to update some stuff on LBP (just recently reinstalled myself), so you may need to patch. Additionally, do you need to update the PS3's FW? Could also be an issue. If none of this helps, I'd check MM's website. I'm sure someone there will have run into a similar issue before.

My PS3 plays other games fine, the disc is fine and undamaged and What's a 'FW'?

FW refers to the Firmware of your PS3. If you haven't done any system updates lately, that's most likely your issues as you won't be able to connect to PSN or anything Sony related until the FW is brought up to the current version. Updating Firmware is relatively simple, when you login, it's the very first tab on the list (all the way to the left), select it, and go to the very top. It should be the 'System update' option. Click on that, and just let it go.

I checked, but I have the latest firmware.
