Yeah, it's a real thing, although obviously in real life you get to decide who your friends and family actually are and the wireless company has no say in the matter.

I think if you think about the implications of him not being able to call his "father" on the FRIENDS AND FAMILY plan, you should understand the stinger.

If they are starting to contact you just say that you haven't received your bill for months
They will soon fix the name problem
