Well, the premise is the same, but you'd have to be a serious creep to be standing around listening to people's payphone conversations. Cell phone voyeurism on the other hand is usually unavoidable. Also, a date and a shopping list is rather inane conversation material, a break-up and a business deal made for some good drama. An excellent update of a good premise.
