While I am disappointed I am going to miss a fair few of those Call ins since it'll be late (I'm missing the Extra Credit people, Russ, Yahtzee and Doraleous for sure. More than likely more will be missed by me and I shall be a very sad panda) I am ecstatic that it's on. Hopefully I get paid soon and can donate.

Calumon: Are you going to have all the Dessert Bus? I can help! I can! I can!

There should be a countdown timer on the main Escapist page... What the LRR team does is really top shelf, and it is great to see how The Escapist is getting behind them even more this year to support. I hope they are stuck playing for at least 7 days this year.

I do believe it's Tucson to Vegas, not Phoenix.

And I have to agree with Jack, too bad a lot of those guests are in the middle of the night for us Europeans.

Too bad they didn't put someone interesting on doing it, still a good cause, I suppose. Won't be donating a single penny however.

Ok now I don't agree with his opinion, but permanently banning someone for an OPINION? What is this, Soviet Russia? Stuff like this can only blow up in your face.

Agreed, that was way too overly harsh, assuming that that is the original unmodified quote. If that was edited after by a mod, well I could see the reasoning, but as it is? It's fine, it's a simple suggestion that maybe he would rather see a spectacle then wish torture on the LRR crew :p

OT: Though I will definitely tune in from time to time on this thing, it looks like it will be quite the event.

I take it that means he's said a lot of stupid shit then, but I still don't agree that an opinion is a valid reason for a ban, and if you ban someone due to multiple infractions you ought to explain that in the post he was banned, else you're bound to end up looking bad (like right now).

If anyone is having a problem understanding why his post was an infraction, please send me a PM and I will attempt to help. We also don't usually say anything about what a person did because it's quite honestly a private matter for them.

Putting this bus back on track... only 3.5 hours until the event begins! Muwahahahahaha!

Does the $10 donation with the publisher club membership start at the same time as the marathon starts or is it already active?

Awesome. I have been procrastinating on doing it for a while now and this is just the incentive I need...now to track down my visa...
