Lollipop Chainsaw Review

If a bubbly cheerleader dicing zombies with a magical chainsaw gets boring, something's gone horribly wrong.

Was that Tara Strong?
Yep that is indeed Tara Strong as the protagonist of Lolipop Chainsaw.

EDIT: And now you'll never be able to unhear Twilight Sparkle whenever you play the game, I know I couldn't.

Captcha: easy-peasy

Indeed my friend.

I've watched waaaay too many shows with Tara Strong doing the voices in it.

Still, it's Suda51 and I've yet to play a BAD game that name attached to it.

God is a dove, don't forget this my children.

I'll definitely advice people to give this game a shot, I personally loved every minute of it, the bosses are great. The music is awesome and the combat is really engaging to me.

There is a lot of sex humor here, admittedly. But it is not distasteful unless when it means to be.

Not as good as No More Heroes, it's spiritual predecessor, but it's not an unenjoyable experience.

this looks fun yes. At the end of the day however, if I want to see electric boobs I will just watch porn.

are the feminist going to attack this game as well??
They'd attack their own reflection in a mirror.

I have to admit, this is not what I imagined from a game titled "Lollipop Chainsaw".

Yeah, I was a big fan of NMH - somewhat disappointed by Lollipop Chainsaw as a follow up, but yeah, not wholly unenjoyable.

That's both my latest game spray, and now it's related to this thread.

It actually looks pretty fun, and Julliet is indeed... fetching. I'm going to go get it.

Im loving it, I bought it expecting to get nothing more than a quick distraction but was surprised to find that my whole weekend vanished. The humour is light and the main character is more "innocent blonde" than "slutty whore" so it actually works out quite well.

For a game without multiplayer it still seems to have a lot of replay value, been plasting the first few stages a lot recently to get A+ ratings/beating Dad's score.

I'm unsurprised that this isn't anything more than a beat'em up. Not planning on plunking down the cash for it. Thank you Mike for confirming my cynicism. I'm going to go be smug now.

I get to play as twilight sparkle, with a chainsaw, killing zombies?!

Who cares about gameplay, story, graphics or any of that shit when I get to play as twilight sparkle, with a chainsaw, killing zombies!

Either way, great review, I will definitely be picking this game up!
