Looking for Blues/jazz band

As the title says, I'm looking for a band that plays some sort of mix between blues/jazz, and isnt afraid to peek into rock either!

Since neither jazz, or blues is my strong side (Alternative/Grunge is my usual preference) I thought I'd ask around on the escapist and see if one of you people cannot dig up anything for me!

What got me looking for a band like this is because I watched 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit?' and was absolutely thrilled by Jessica Rabbit's 'Why Dont You Do Right?'

I don't think that's the kind of blues he was looking for... I love Blues Traveler but this kind of isn't the same.

Um... to be honest, I just listen to NPR when I want jazz and turn it off when they start the political junk.
