Looking for 'epic' orchestral scores

This is a pretty simple issue really. I LOVE epic orchestral scores to films/TV shows/games/whatever else.

Trouble is, I only ever had a few of these on my computer, and I've recently had to reboot my laptop, so I lost everything. I've already gotten back what I had (Mass Effect 1+2, Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe, and the only available albums from Immediate, Globus and Two Steps from Hell (okay these 3 do trailer music, but it's still epic).

Thing is with this, I'm struggling to think of any films that have truly epic scores to them. Think you can help me out?

Legend of Zelda; Twilight Princess was orchestrated, if I remember correctly.

For films however, its a lot more difficult because it can be fairly easily done on a computer, so...Star Wars is the only one that springs to mind...fuck. o_O
Okay, clarification. I didn't mean strictly as in 'they used an orchestra to produce it'. I meant...anything that sounds orchestral.

Faulty memory then. No zelda game has been orchestrated.

Ot: Metal gear solid 4 has an amazing score, make sure to get that. Hell, 2 and 3 are great as well.

The theme to 3 is my favourite.

The main menu theme from Bulletstorm is actually pretty awesome. I am not kidding.
And Lord of the Rings OST. I mean, have you seen the movies? So freaking epic.

Hell, it's gotten to the point where I can usually spot his style whenever I hear his scores in films, which I can't do for anyone else. Well, maybe John Williams.

Speaking of which, Gregson's score was easily the best part of that god awful wolverine origins film...

Jurassic Park?

I'm sure you can find premade lists on Google. Personally, I prefer good scores than ones which are simply monumental. American Beauty has phenomenal score, but it's far from the monumental nature of the Jurassic Park score.

Check the Halo OSTs out, as they are damn good.

Or look up Ride of the Valkyries. That is the definition of epic.

Gothic 3. It was praised as the best game soundtrack ever by the German print magazine Gamestar. It was a really enjoyable soundtrack in the game, which I also highly recommend.

well to games? Kingdom hearts has some beautiful pieces along with Final Fantasy, StoC, that's all I really listen to from Video Game music. Chariots of Fire in movies, along with the opening theme to Space Odessy 2001. If you're willing to go out side of that to just regularly orchestrated pieces though may I suggest the Planets Series from Mr. Holst? Namely:

Mercury: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6yIKu3LSwcE

Jupiter: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L6NopU9K_8M&feature=related

and Mars: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L0bcRCCg01I

I'm a huge fan of Frank Klepacki's work and most of it sounds pretty orchestral. Especially Universe At War: Earth Assaulr
Hell March 3 (Live): [link]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pKIrch21Ub4[/link] (Red Alert 3, see the orchestra behind him?!)
Doom of the Aliens: [link]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A_lcioyFeCw[/link](Universe At War)
Divine Intervention: [link]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h4qxigwu3kk[/link](Universe At War)
You can download the Universe At War OST free by googling "Universe At War OST".

And now I'm off to look at my movie collection to see if any have epic music...

Brand X music, Immediate Music/Globus, X ray dog, audiomachine, two steps from hell, ES Posthumus. All make music for movies and trailers. I think you'll find something you like in their libraries. However x ray dog, brand x, and audiomachine don't sell their music to the public but you can still find their music on youtube. The others have at least one album out for public consumption.... and they are EPIC.

EDIT, Gahh only skimmed the OP and missed the fact that you already had them
