Cool.. I have a hunters marl tattoo on my forearm.
You do realize I was making a joke earlier? I have no actual stake in either game though.Lies of P feels like a "we have bloodborne at home" meme.

ah fair. It looks like it should be a decent game. But when I played it it felt so much like it was trying to be Bloodborne that it was distracting.Cool.

The developers know that FS will never make an official sequel to Bloodborne, so their game, Lies of P, is the next best thing for the fans copium.ah fair. It looks like it should be a decent game. But when I played it it felt so much like it was trying to be Bloodborne that it was distracting.
Too real for a Sunday man! Just tell me something easy to swallow, like my parent's separation was my fault or something. The developers know that FS will never make an official sequel to Bloodborne, so their game, Lies of P, is the next best thing for the fans copium.
An odd comparison, it just seems (like every other "Soulslike" I've seen recently, showing how meaninglless that alleged genre is) to be following in the trend that became en vogue after Sekiro (despite being a throwback to pre-Souls tradition) to have given you a dodge but is expecting you to actually parry instead (funnily enough, I associate that with Assassins Creed 1 (before they put in the flashing indicators) more then anything, including Sekiro lol.ah fair. It looks like it should be a decent game. But when I played it it felt so much like it was trying to be Bloodborne that it was distracting.
Dark Souls is already clunky enough, the original Lords game was uber clunky and that's why it fucking stank. It could have been a fine and decent Souls-like if it hadn't been like driving a big rig up a mountain road. This one looks like more of the same which means they've learned no lessons from previous failures.
Seems like all it really has going for it is one gimmick (much like the first one) and other then that its basically carbon copy Souls with slightly clunkier.
The only I'm going to get interested in a souls-like is if the combat is AMAZING. Sekiro set such a high bar that anything next has to be as good or even somehow better. Trying to ply Wo Long- which is not as good or better- really drove that point home. So while Lords look cool and I like that two words gimmick, definitely the whole combat being iffy thing is an absolute stopper for me.Dark Souls is already clunky enough, the original Lords game was uber clunky and that's why it fucking stank. FExtralife is a bunch of bullshitters anyway. So I don't trust shit they say.
Looks kinda meh. In other words, Iād rather this -

I know many of you are suffering from Souls fatigue, but Fextra likes the game. Not much you can do about it. I am no hardcore champion of him, nor have I seen every one of his reviews.FExtralife is a bunch of bullshitters anyway. So I don't trust shit they say.
They fake their viewership and falsify their twitch following and numbers. They write blatant bullshit articles and guides about new games just to make sure their website is the first link to show up on google for new game search results. While on that page you're forced to watch imbedded twitch streams which inflate their viewership numbers astronomically.Unless you know something I don't. He's usually on the up on up & straight forward from the videos I've seen.
Ok then. I did notice many gameplay guides in their links and upload lists before the game even launched. So a lamer GameXplain and Gaming Bolt? Good to know. They fake their viewership and falsify their twitch following and numbers. The tactic they use is to create a fake article or guide about something like "Lords of the Fallen best weapon early guide" whatever. They then write some bullshit about something they found early in their preview window or something like that without any real knowledge. This means the SEO for their website is boosted because everyone will be looking for stuff like that when the game comes out. But it's all a tactic to drive numbers on their website up for ads, on top of driving fake viewership on twitch to make sure the stream is as high in whatever category on the Twitch homepage as possible.
To their credit they will edit their bullshit articles after the fact to reflect fairly correct information, once the ploy for number inflation is over for a particular game.
Iāve only used them for the last few FROM games, but as far as game info after release theyāre one of the most thorough and reliable sources. Theyāve put out build videos for ER like no other, which kept me playing long after getting Platinum. Definitely a useful site depending on the game, and they aināt afraid to go in depth unlike Gaming Bolt which is mostly surface level commercialized grandstanding.Ok then. I'll take you and Critical's words into consideration. More so you. I won't be on the constant look out, but if something looks off, I'll come to my own conclusion and let you know.Iāve only used them for the last few FROM games, but as far as game info after release theyāre one of the most thorough and reliable sources. My experience is limited to post release stuff and I have no idea about their practices for increasing traffic, but on their game wiki pages at least Iāve seen very few intrusive ads. Occasionally when scrolling down a page there might be one, but nothing that makes you want to leave.
That kind of does look like my jam. But Souls-like......hmmmmFound it, btw. So yeah, performance issues (which could potentially be better), some unspecified issue with the melee. A lot of kind of generic/bland open world presentation and nothingburger story. With some cool traversal and interesting (aside from frame drops and whatever the unspecified melee jank is)
Seems kind of like it might fall into the Dragons Dogma area, good combat, but just kind of spotted amidst an open world RPG that can't really hit the mark for that.
This threads a little confusing lol. Lords of the Fallen and Atlas Fallen are two separate games. That kind of does look like my jam. But Souls-like......hmmmm
Indeed. You can blame that one on Old_Hunter_77, and that both use fall in their respective titles. This threads a little confusing lol.
Much better.AF would be better described as being a mix ofAssassins CreedDMC, God of War (Greek Era), Legacy of Kain/Soul Reaver, and Darksiders then a Souls Like.
Oh well, in that case, fuck yesThis threads a little confusing lol. Lords of the Fallen and Atlas Fallen are two separate games.
