I'm currently playing through Lost Odyssey, which I have to say is one of the best games I've played in a long while. The story and characters are great, and it's really fun to have an RPG that plays like the classics but looks modern and detailed. But the thing that makes it the game that has wrung the most tears from me are the dreams.
For those unaware, Lost Odyssey features a cast that consists partially of immortals who have lived for a thousand years, but had their memories of that time taken from them. As the game progresses, Kaim (the protagonist) unlocks various memories from his past, which are presented as a short story (written by a novelist) through stylistic text. They really delve deeply into the psychological, emotional, and philosophical ramifications of immortality in a way I've never seen in another story before. And they're amazing.
So, Escapists, if you've played this wonderful game, what is your favorite dream? Feel free to post Youtube videos, since I'm pretty sure all of them are up there somewhere.
If you're going to talk about details in your post, though, use spoiler tags. That is an absolute requirement. Nobody likes having things ruined for them.
Personally, I have a tie so far, though I've yet to watch all of them. The two best in my mind are Hanna's Departure and Stones of Heaven. You can see them below. Hanna's Departure is just so beautifully sad, and Stones of Heaven is just such an interesting look into human strength and weakness.

So then, which of Lost Odyssey's Thousand Years of Dreams was your favorite?
P.S. This game also proves that whichever Square Enix exec said remaking Final Fantasy VII with modern visuals would take so much time and resources as to essentially be impossible was an idiot. If this game exists as it does, so could a modern remake of Final Fantasy VII.
