Macs in Media

Because they're allegedly good for editing stuff.

They are. And this is coming from someone who hates Macs. They are a far better platform for editing and sound design, there are far less errors and problems.

But I still despise the damn things. So anti Windows it hurts my soul.

Yeah, unfortunately, this kind of thinking leads to images and photos and applications piling up, slowing the thing to a crawl. Having seen some photographer's and graphic designer's Mac HD's, ouch.

Then, that's not really the Mac's fault, just people thinking it's some kind of magic wonder box.

That's why I always say that the Mac has at least some merit as a specialist device; it's good for editing stuff but not for much else.

They look the coolest on the exterior. There's no other reason really.

People who use Macs for anything other than editing various things are doing it wrong anyway.
