Magic the Gathering in Love

Valentine's day is coming and I want to give my beloved something special. I was thinking of constructing a love / romance themed Magic the Gathering deck, but I can only think of one that fits the theme (Dazzling Beauty). If all else fails, I'll just make him a Zombie deck, but if anyone on The Escapist know of Magic the Gathering Cards from ANY series or expansion that mention love or romance in their title, description or quote, please post them here.

Seriously though, there must be plenty of white cards out there that are about love and angels and protection and soppy things like that.

Angelic Blessing?
Youthful Knight?
Serra's Embrace?

Well first of props for the rather cute and amazingly geeky idea... But as said above I think unless you're going with something silly, try picking through white cards. They tend to play more along those lines... but I don't think I can remember any cards from my old kamigawa and mirrodian cards that could be helpful sorry... plenty of pretty whites but nothing romantic feeling..

As mentioned, the closest you could probably get is a white deck themed around knights [http://www.wizards.com/magic/magazine/Article.aspx?x=mtg/daily/boab/132] protecting priestesses [http://www.wizards.com/magic/magazine/Article.aspx?x=mtg/daily/boab/144] and such.

Gatherer [http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Default.aspx] would be a good resource to do name searches for specific romantic terms.

Very nice idea, I might have to steal that idea. Also, I would recommend lotus pedal the flavor text envolves Hanna from the weatherlight "stroking"

You probably won't find much in that regard. As the flavor text for Pointy Finger of Doom [http://magiccards.info/uh/en/126.html] said:

That said, someone suggested a White Knight/Priestess deck. Seems about and close as you're going to get. Unless you go for a Blue control deck, but that might send the wrong message (unless he's into bondage, obviously).

What a sweet idea - here's the solution your looking for:

Make your own custom card deck.
http://magicseteditor.sourceforge.net/screenshots

Then spend 20 bucks and have them printed off at your local Kinkos/equivalent.

That way you can design your own cards and personalize them alot more then just using cards because they have the word "Embrace" in it or something.
