Majority of U.S. Power Grid at Risk of Failure This Summer, Report Warns

The Midwest is at "high risk of energy emergencies" and Texas and the West could see outages and shortfalls amid high heat and drought.

Texas's power grid might be a joke, but the US's infrastructure as a whole is in DESPERATE need of an overhaul.

Funny enough when I was living overseas, I had the power fall on me, I just went to the mall where there was a backup power generator. It will however suck for the elderly.
