Wait wait wait, what exactly are the charges? Is not being fake internet buddies punishable by law now? Don't these have to go through some process, someone must have approved something somewhere

Whatever, just wash your hands.
Sounds fake to me. Take this story with a grain of salt.

This is exactly what I expected when I clicked on this article.

And It's just as... sad . This is really low. Anyway, the lawsuit won't be successful etc etc moving on!

I feel like John had too much fun researching as many names of her adult films as possible to put in this article...
And now I must research them too. To validate the article's accurate filmography listings.

Yes.
The first thing I did after reading this was look her name up on a rather unscrupulous search engine... for research purposes, of course. >.>

Because the article's title definitely indicated it was about videogames rather than about a man suing a porn star for not being his twitter buddy...

?

You DO realize that The Escapist doesn't JUST cover video game news, right? There have been stories related to movies, robotics, science, and other non-video game related subjects.

I really don't know how to feel. This is really sad, but at the same time I can .. somewhat, slightly understand why the guy would feel this way. Yet he's handling it all wrong- if you want to impress a lady, don't just spam her on Twitter. Send her stuff by mail and say you're just grateful for what she does (though in this case I might not consider going with that but.. who knows?)
This is hilarious beyond words. This guy is basically suing her for not replying back to his stalking XD

And here I thought the whole suing-for-ridculous-things was an American thing

So, not only does he make what may be the most foolish lawsuit I have ever heard, but, also, the fact that he actually SUED. As in... He's now infamous across the world for being the guy that was being a stalker-fanboy to a porn star, of all things!

*raises hand* How can you not think that when you see a ludicrous lawsuit?
Anyhow, this is just... all manners of sad. Seriously, I'm just a regular Joe (well, "regular Jane", I guess), and even I don't acknowledge all those "follow me" requests...

To clarify:
If you work in published media, then you are legally obligated to befriend anyone and everyone who requests that you do so? Sounds legit.

I got halfway through the article and scrolled down to confirm my suspicions Of course it's John Funk. If it's Japanese and weird he always seems to know a little more background than is strictly needed.

Take this as high praise of his journalistic acumen or a sign that the F.B.I should take a look at that hard drive at the bottom of the pit in his Silence of the Lambs themed "love dungeon"

This is ridiculous, though all you have to do in America to sue someone is pay the court filling fee; regardless she was hotter back in '04... just saying.

Ok I have to admit I was thinking that too. Still no matter what country it's from it sill makes me want to put my head through my desk.

I must see if " A Life With Sora is Filled With Sex 24 Hours!" has any basis in reality. 24 hours is a long time, but I must test it.
