Hey guys, a bunch of my good friends from my old guild on WoW are currently working on this great cause, they're playing a back-to-back mario game marathon to raise money for Sailing for a Cure.

http://www.mariomadness.com/

I can't say it much better then their website so:

This is Mario Madness! We are a group of college students from Southern California, and we've set out to play a dozen Mario titles, non-stop, back-to-back, broadcast live for all to see. And, we're doing it all to raise money for Sailing For The Cure, a non-profit cancer awareness foundation with goals as ambitious as ours! To learn more about SFTC, check out their website or the Donations page.

A video game marathon would be nothing without you, the fans! We need you to RSVP on USTREAM, follow us on Twitter and Facebook, and most importantly... donate whatever you can! This is the only way to ensure that we make it through our long, challenging schedule of video game mayhem. If you can't donate any money but have an artistic side, we strongly encourage you to create something to adorn our Fan Art page.
Even if you can't afford to donate, support is great. Check it out.

Fuck that noise. I've had enough of self-satisfied do-gooders thinking their pet projects are somehow exceptional or less annoying than any other advertising. Reported.
Are you seriously that bitter and conceited? Get the hell over yourself for god sake. No one is getting anything out of this, it's not advertising to gain money for myself, or anything other then a good cause. If you seriously find words on a thread, that you DON'T have to click on annoying then you have some problems.

I have no qualms in telling you that you're a giant tool. Ignored.
