So no, I'm not sore about it, and neither are any entirely rational non-Microsoft employees. I will however be quite sore if it turns out this "bonus content" is something new and not just DLC that's already come out, and that the content in turn is platform exclusive to the PS3, as I bloody hate exclusivity precisely because of shit like that I'm cool with 'rewarding' patient PS3 owners in some way, just don't be giving them stuff that I can't get myself.
The bonus content will either be the pre-existing DLC or some extra armor, don't expect it to be like Overlord.

lets hope its some sort of anthology edition including a watered down version of the first so all the important choices still get to be mmade.

or even beter, ther first game with the second games engine

Good for the ps3 owners, I'm somewhat happy for them.

But on the other side, they don't get ME1 which sucks for them.

me1&me2 run on 400$ gig wtf is it with people and consoles ? I only buy exclusives for my ps3, wouldn't waste money on me2 when i can just play it on PC with an actual mouse...

The audience for the game has pretty much just been doubled, and it stands to reason that EA would want to support the series even more than it has before.
That comment is full of shit. End of.

It's a little absurd for Bioware to release the 2nd part of a trilogy on the PS3 without releasing the 1st part. It's not like they haven't had enough time to work on it.

Care to elaborate?. Rather than just saying the comment is full of shit, you could have explained why you think that comment is full of shit. Maybe presented an arguement or your reasoning behind your feelings.

I wouldn't say the audience as doubled however I would say that you will have a much, much larger audience than before given that there will be plenty of PS3 owners that never got the chance to play it. This will also greatly benefit E.A and the future Mass Effect games (increased budget and funding isn't going to hurt).

I think the problem is that the first Mass Effect was published by Microsoft, while Mass Effect 2 was published by EA.
It is a shame, though

Cool, they need to release the first one too, otherwise the PS3 owners can't choose their stories
Not happening. MS confirmed it.
Aww too bad for my buddy who wanted to play the first, still the second was 100x better anyways, they just needed the story padding

Cool, but they should release Mass Effect 1 on PS3 as well. Especially given the import capabilities.

WTF?! The only thing I use my 360 for is coming to my beloved PS3?

...anyone on the market for a 360? haha

"hours of bonus content" Take note devs, thats what happens when you aren't constrained by ancient technology aka the DVD. The power of the PS3 with the memory of a Blu-ray, this is exciting
