*Obligitory bitter ME3 ending response*

This is a little bit ridiculous if you think about it. Bioware puts out new content for something and everyone is just slamming them for even daring to touch their ME3!

Hey guys! If you're that bothered, just don't buy it! That'll teach 'em for working on ME3 instead of ME4 amirite!

My prediction: Most of the DLC will be Multiplayer characters and weapons.

The part for ME3 singleplayer will be the addition of a casino. You will get to walk around and have deep conversation with your crew talking to Shepard about what they think about life and how EDI's tits are smoking hot. Maybe they will throw a bone in for the female players who's Shepard got the middle finger in the first game, and someone well say "Oh I'm so sorry about what Jacob did to you, he was an ass" or "how are you feeling after you watched you boyfriend get stabbed in the gut with a katana and bleed out all over the floor?" The player will maybe get two dialogue options with each conversation that will amount to yes or no or I'm fine or I feel sad, and then Shepard babbles a bunch of stuff that won't change no matter what you pick.

Then you'll hear ambient conversation, people talking about the brutal murders of their children at the hands of a banshee, some guy is going to talk about how he watched a husk rip the baby out of a pregnant woman's belly, some jerkface will say something racist about working with alien races and if the player chooses, Shepard can step in with a big speech about working together, with flowers and rainbows or something.

Then there will be mini games in the casino that will help you get enough credits for all the upgrades and gear on a clean play through.

And finally! The triumphant return of the asari strippers, because that's all the asari are good for and will be remembered for. Shaking their blue butts in a bar for men to drool over and being essentially, male fantasy of hot blue bisexual chicks.

DLC for the multi would make far more sense, given that it's essentially a free to play microtransaction farm that coincidentally shipped on the disc with a singleplayer RPG, and you keep your microtransaction farm running by contnually drip feeding content updates.

You know, people wouldn't bash Bioware for releasing campaign DLC after the ending, if they ending didn't make it all feel pointless.

you know im really tired of the bitching about the ending from people. im sorry 5 mins of bad ending doesnt ruin hours of a good game. so my responce to all you guys still bitching about the ending or that the games not "complete" is:

stop bitching, this inst for you, and ,i mean this with the upmost respect, go to hell.

sorry but ive had enough of whinners, fools, and down right stupid people STILL posting about the ending a year after the game was released. I mean hell Duke nukem forever was a truly bad game and the bitching about that one stoped a month after its release.
You know, when you have to put in a phrase like "and I say this with all due respect," there's a chance that your post is needlessly inflammatory. And your post is.

[sub]The funny thing is they probably still would[/sub]

Still who the hell complains about new content for an overall good game? I understand exactly how shit the ending was and the Extended Cut barely makes it better but everything was fucking awesome until the last 5 minutes of the game and I will be damned if I let that skew my judgement of the game completely.

Well that's your opinion and you have every right to it. This is our opinion and we have every right to it.

With Mass Effect 2 I waited for all the DLC to be released before I played it. I hate going back to games just to play some small DLC thing, so I usually save it all up for one go. Same thing with ME3, but I haven't really looked at the DLC for that one yet. Could anyone enlighten me as to which DLC episodes are worthwhile in this one?

This discussion has made me realise something.

The 4th option? Where you fail to stop the Reapers and the next cycle does it instead? That's going to be declared canon. That's what the new ME game will be about. All this new DLC is giving you one last look at the universe as it exists now. The next go-around will have no humans since they'll be wiped out. As will Asari/Turian/Quarian/Salarian/Drell/Batarian and so forth.

Next time hero? Vorcha and Yahg.

I'm not necessarily complaining.

Although I played Mass Effect 3 as soon as it came out, I am now thinking that your approach would be better. The DLC that has been released so far would actually make for a much richer experience overall when integrated into the core story, as opposed to being played after the conclusion.

This is how I personally feel about the DLC so far:

From Ashes: A definite play. It introduces a new squad mate who can give you a drastic new angle on the entire story. This was Day 1 DLC and feels like it it was actually cut from the game. I'm not whining about Day 1 here, just pointing out my thoughts! The new squadie is a fully fleshed out character and adds to the story more than someone like Zaeed or Kasumi did in ME2.

Extended Cut: A no brainer. Just download this and save yourself the undiluted horror of the original conclusion!

Leviathan: Not quite as high quality as the above DLC but probably better if played within the game and before the conclusion. The Wiki will tell you this introduces 10 new locations but there's a lot of revisiting in this DLC, some back and forth busywork and less combat. It feels like a giant spectacle mission with only cursory input required from the player. It does, however, introduce an interesting and mighty new asset in the war.

Omega: Have not played yet. From what I have heard it is somewhat detached from the rest of the storyline. Good or bad? You decide.
