"Wait, we can do better than that" said Dak, stopping Nima from wrecking any more controls, "What if we were to use their tanks to attack their own troops?"
"Well since you asked..." Lag started a rig another charge up in front of the tanks and beside the control panel. "We might want to be in another place right now."
The explosions ripped through the room and the sounds of glass shattering and metal bending filled the air. Lag emerged from the cloud of smoke holding one small memory chip. "All data from that room is copied on here. It was encrypted so I'm not sure what it is but I'm sure it's important."
"All right." She looks around the room and sees several tall metal spikes, one of which has a body impaled on it. The armor leaves no doubt as to the identity. "Looks like we found our Spectre."
As MacCormick arrived with Elle, he surveyed the scene. Carnage was the only way to describe it. While he was taking in the surroundings, one of the many spikes in the room hummed and started to spark into life.
