I've been listening to this podcast pretty much since it began. I discovered it almost as a fluke, just checking out this site when the words "media sandwich" piqued my curiosity and I was suprised you guys had been allowed to have a podcast. So, congratulations on your first year!

As for guests, I still think that you guys should try to bring in Game Grumps or anyone from Screwattack.
Also, that last teaser intrigues me.

Talk to Alex Shaw over at Gonzo Planet. He's pretty responsive, and I'm sure willing to chat about games and movies with you.

I started listening at around episode 3 or 4? I'm pretty sure it was one of the MovieBob episodes. So far the only episode I haven't listened all the way through was the one where you talked about Lost, and only because I know nothing about it. I'll usually listen to it while building things out of LEGO, because that's something I can do without loosing focus on what you're all talking about.

Also, the DS remake of FF4 is pretty solid if you're interested in trying it again ever. It's a bit tougher, but the combat system is also deeper than the SNES version and the original Japanese version.

I don't remember if I started listening at episode 1 or later, but I have listened to all of them. And I've been listening to the old Armchair Thinkers on Kyle's blog too.

Hey,
Long time listener second time poster. I've been keeping up with media sandwich for almost as long as its been running now. To be honest I wavered a little at the start but putting faces to names with 'No Right Answer' really helped define yourselves personally. To me at least the main draw to the show and 'No Right Answer' isn't comedy per se but but the relaxed homely feeling you seem to exude. Rather than rather than feeling like a comedy club, y'all come off like people everyone knows. The shows casual structure seems to emulate a couple of bros hanging out rather than a performance depicting people hanging out (that is to say that some other series just seems too edited/scripted). I guess its really aided by how much you seem to share of yourselves, Chris especially with career updates and post 'cast monologues. Everyone seems to have a quick thing to say about going somewhere or doing something each week y'know its personalized. As for legit criticism I dunno, in my opinion every low is factors towards that organic conversational appeal. I don't know, impression time is equal parts goofy and fun. Anyway.
You seem to genuinely enjoy what you're doing which is all that really matters.
Keep having fun and I'll keep tuning in.

Started watching on the first episode after seeing the title "Media Sandwich". Normally I would have left after seeing the length, but last year I started getting into podcasts when I needed background noise for certain things. I listen to a lot less podcasts than last year, but this one is still one I listen to regularly, even if not on the day it comes out or all at once, which is why I almost never comment.

Also, I'd like to hear a discussion about Harry Potter. Alone or with a guest. Quite the nostalgia trip for me and I imagine a lot of others.

Popped in at episode 17. Not much of a film fan, so I didn't enjoy Episode 19. I just enjoy podcasts where you guys talk nonsense.

By clip are you referring to the Picard Song [http://www.last.fm/music/DarkMateria/_/The+Picard+Song] where 4 lights is featured? Now Next Generations to me, was what Andy Griffian or any other show you get the family together to watch. Most came about during my family's divorce. Even still we would all come together to watch it. So I have seen a bit more of Next Generations. Things like, there are 4 lights, I can say and my dad gets the meaning right off the bat. Almost a secret language. Now Next Generations was something I love then and now. Star Trek is one I couldn't enjoy until they started to rerun the episodes. This was later in life when I would sometimes be watching it with my dad, while we drinking alcohol and eating chicken. Much I couldn't appreciate of Star Trek till later in life, that is because these are two different people. Kirk being the man who I believe is more innately talent, while Picard had to earn his rank. This allow for much different style of writing for each character. Kirk it was easier to tell the big ideas, while with Picard it was easier to tell more relatable ideas.

Weapon of Choice [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iZLidy7pIQ8] might be the song you are talking about. I just remember sounding what you are talking about with Walken walking about.Always stands out because he starts and ends like an ordinary person.

I do enjoy the show, but it is more of how it appears a conversation. Feels like a group of friends together hanging about, even though it is more of an interview. Always make it an enjoyable to listen and listen again to. I started with the Movie Bob episode, cause who doesn't like Movie Bob. Enjoyed it, and continue listening to that. Thought episode 23 always bring me down, but that is cause I feel like I upset you without meaning to.

On regards to future guest Grey Carter and Cory Rydell of the Escapist team would be good, along with other web comics might be a good idea. Michael "Pun Master" Alonso of http://www.pixel-pandemonium.com/ is one that is easy to get in contact. He does lot of good small stuff like his Film Noir Lol Cat [http://www.pixel-pandemonium.com/?p=665] story arch and Sweet Tooth [http://www.pixel-pandemonium.com/?p=985] story arch which has no words. Has actually gotten published in a spanish magazine. Randal Milholland of http://www.somethingpositive.net/ is always looking of ways to promote his comic and talk without leaving his house. Dan Shive of http://egscomics.com/ loves doing podcasts much like Little Kuriboh of http://www.yugiohabridged.com/ . Little Kuriboh might be busy at the moment with Cards for Charity. Holly Conrad who is well known for her Commander Shepard and was featured in Comic Con Episode IV: A Fan's Hope. Lives on connections so be up for it. http://crabcatindustries.com/ getting its profits from connections. Her facebook is https://www.facebook.com/HollyConrad and her Twitter is https://twitter.com/HollyConrad which should be ways of getting in contact with her.

Pun Master is the only one I have had exchange with emails and such. So could forward any information if you are interested in having on the show. Though keep in mind he lives in Spain.

Just noticed this, but the badge people have in common in the thread is sci fi related. Red Dwarf being the one that seems to have the most in common.

In regards to the never-ending Star Trek debate I would like to add that while 'Chain of Command' is a a very moving episode, probably one of the best from TNG (Though I am partial to Darmok, and any episode with Moriarty), I find DS9's Far Beyond the Stars to be my go-to episode for emotional heart-string tugging in the Trek universe. It stands alone not only as a great Star Trek episode but as great work of science fiction as well as being an even handed look at the troubled history of America. In short, it's a great Star Trek story; a great sci-fi story; and most of all, a great human story.

FF4 DS is pretty great, the visuals are freaking great
