Seeing as this would be a game. could you perhaps mod it ? what if we took this game and changed the sexes, instead of shooting at girls, we shot at guys. (kinda what samus does all say i guess) - would the game still be funny ? - in a purley comedical sense i mean - Cause i think it would, id almost say it would be even funnier. Then id have leave it up for Susan Ardent and other gaming-girls to decide if the game is actually worth playing..

What if, just for the sake of argument, they're into, you know, actual Japanese history and literature and serious cultural things? It's the same way English literature includes both Shakespeare and Twilight.

Well in that case their interest is commendable and something I'd be inclined to take serious, but I've never actually met anyone who fits that description - all the folks I know obsessed with Japan fixate on Japanese pop culture (which I can't take seriously).

I actually meet a lot of people like that, but that's probably because I'm studying Japanese language and culture as part of my major. You see things in a different light when you know a dedicated Akutagawa Ryunosuke fan or Ukiyoe enthusiast to balance out the idiot in the Naruto headband.

I didn't watch it to the end and only after closing the video realized that about 6 minutes into the video, they were suddenly sitting at a pink table, were uncomfortably close to each other with half of the table being empty and the girl seemed a bit like a deer in headlights. Did anyone else sit down at the table or did it end like that?

Extremely unlikely. They make they kinda games in japan like we make generic RPG/FPS games. And they never were popular here. They have literture games where is all texted based with naked pics of girls. This game wont make it here. it would never get passed the ESRB, there's not market, and that tentacal monster makes it too much like pornographic Hentai for it to get here.

Yeah, I know..I was only joking, since it's HIGHLY unlikely it ever will. While there is a possibility, don't worry I do realise how different the cultures are and just how impossible it would be for this game to be released here.

And yeah I've heard of those stores...well, when there's money to be made you may as well take advantage of it....or something.

so, it's a rail shooter, but istead of kiling people you make girls fall in love with you(although I'm sure there will be some nudity in there at some point specially where there is the single girl and the player was shooting her breats with his "heart gun") and then there is flying sheep and tentacle monsters...
