Mega Shark + Crocosaurus + Urkel + Voyager's Doctor = Real Movie
Asylum Studios just released the trailer for Mega Shark Versus Crocosaurus, a straight-to-DVD feature that will itself be released within the month. The film stars Urkel himself, Jaleel White, Robert Picardo (Star Trek: Voyager), and Gary Stretch (The King Maker), alongside the formidable Mega Shark and Crocosaurus. The trailer promises many shiny explosions and much inane dialogue, but Crocosaurus belly-flopping on a museum is a definite high point.
It seems soon for another direct-to-DVD Mega Shark film, as the last Mega Shark film came out in 2009. That film, Mega Shark Versus Giant Octopus, was a massive hit on the SyFy channel, though, and as Stretch philosophically reminds us in this newest trailer, "these things were designed to survive."
The film comes out on December 21, which happens to be my birthday. I think it's pretty obvious what I'd like. Widescreen version, please.
