Megan Fox Quits Transformers Movies

I think they need to slap Bay's hands, take the Transformers franchise away and pass it off to Zack Snyder. Transformers isn't technically a comic book series (though there was a comic book) but it appears to me that anything that has had a comic book form passed to Zack Snyder for directing will be awesome. I only have Dawn of the Dead (2004), Watchmen and 300 to back me up on this in my knowledge of Snyder films though. Then, and only then, will Transformers have any shot at actually improving. I am pretty sure Megan wasn't actually meant to be anything meaningful other than a nice ass to ogle. So losing her changes nothing, for better or for worse. In fact, I daresay it leaves an opening for an even worse character to be brought into the movie because we all know damn well Michael Bay is not going to make this movie work.

Fuck No.

Zach Snyder is as dumb as Michael Bay, except he prefers slowmo and rippling abs to explosions. His action scenes are actually a bit crap, once you get past the stylistic slowmo.

I would say they should get James Cameron to do it, because he really knows how to do technoporn action (See: Aliens, Avatar, The Abyss, every movie he's ever made), but he still needs to get off his ass and make me a Battle Angel Alita movie.

If the film has the title Transformers in big lettering than perhaps it should be about the transformers and not the humans.
Super Robots are only rendered kickass by virtue of having squishy humans to compare them to (and by hot blooded shouting, of course).

And let's face it, Megan Fox was the least annoying squishy in the movie continuum. Compare her to Sam, his parents, or *shudder* annoying roommate guy, so what they need to do is get rid of everyone else.

Ya know...

Michael Bay made Megan Fox with the first one. She was eye candy then, and she's playing that card now. There's been very few truly classy women in Hollywood and I would like to think that Megan Fox hasn't met them quite yet. The Rosario Dawsons, Eva Mendez's, and Scarlet Johanssons aren't born, they're made.

Perhaps after Megan Fox learns the hard way that she needs to play nice. But for now, it's more or less she needs to take a new direction.

Michael Bay on the other hand has been nothing but an action movie director that I feel needs to stay AWAY from great franchises.

Look what he did to Nightmare on Elm Street. :(

As long as Bay still is in charge, there can be no rejoicing possible :\

Megan was eye candy, to be replaced by another eye candy, i doubt her removal would change much except give us less people to blame when the film sucks.

To all you people rejoicing at this news - What exactly are you so happy about? She wasn't the problem. She wasn't what made the Transformers movies crap. She's simply eyecandy with mediocre acting skills. If you want a problem, try these:

1. A retarded idiot directing the whole thing.
2. Two talentless rejects writing the whole thing.
3. Overly focused on human characters (seriously, I don't care about Shia LeBouf's college roommates)
4. Both movies massively succesful despite all the above, meaning the next one will follow in their footsteps.

Megan Fox is the least of the franchise's problems, and at least she was pleasant to look at...
Thank you, the constant Megan Fox hating has gotten really annoying as of late. And while she isn't the hottest girl in the movies I've seen, it's still more interesting to look at her than anything else that's going on.

She isn't pleasant to look at, she looks like an inflatable sex doll and the acting wasn't mediocre, it was non existent

None of those words are accurate to describe Trannies 2, the movie was shit, but it was imaginative, exciting, and colourful.
Well, that's quite a contradiction, don't you think? I have never heard of "exciting shit".
In this case the word shit is used as an adjective (Meaning low quality)... not literal. So yes, you can have exciting shit.
