Women are crazy. Men are assholes. However, are men assholes because women are crazy? Or are women crazy because men are assholes?

Your thoughts.

I try to be a nice guy... though so far it has led to social isolation and depression, so...<.<

Men and women used to be totally ok with each other. But, one day a crazy asshole hermaphrodite was born and everything went to hell.

I don't agree with neither claim, nor the hypothesis, but I do think that silly thread is silly.

Both are a little, then during a relationship both become a super-ponential ([x+c]^x) unless you talk about whats bothering you, it's the only way to reset x to zero, where c is some constant of how much you're annoyed by your partner..wait a second

F = (x+c)^x - (x+t)^x

where x is your default crazy/asshole factor
c is how much you're annoyed by your partner
t is how much you talk about it
F is your feelings towards one another

There is a limit, but I'm to tired to figure out how to write it in HTML or indeed math at the moment

I'd check the validity of your axioms before attempting to draw any sort of conclusions from them.

People generally have some degree of idiosyncrasy, leading to the idea that the opposite gender is crazy and the ever-common "everyone but me is an idiot" cliche.

I think men and women are both crazy. I think the "asshole factor" is neither limited to one gender nor universal, but I think the crazy factor is completely universal.

But everyone is an idiot except me! Why does no one understand me!

This, but sine the isolation and depression.

Though, I'll guess that they're both separated; men are assholes because men are assholes, and women are crazy because women are crazy. Do I win?

Neither. They are naturally assholes and crazy. I am male, but I don't really consider myself an asshole.

I dislike that you think that 3.5 Billion people all share the same personality trait. That's called sexism.

I'm not crazy or an asshole (that I'm aware of), I think most relationships fail miserably because people rush into them get married and have kids in a year or two.

I don't think a relationship has any long lasting potential until it hits the 1 year mark because its at that point that the masks are, for the most part, off and that's when people find out if they really are a good pair.

We are different.

it's because parts of our brain work slightly different.
also testosterone/oestrogen, when you're not completely alike you get title's like ''asshole'' and ''crazy''

does that answer your question?

Lets just say both are insane. We're just insane in our different styles.
