VLC might be able to help you out there.
Fiddle around with it and you'll see why.

For me... Final Fantasy X did that, it was a while ago, can't remember the song now.
Morrowind does it alot.
TF2 does when I get "Intruder Alert", that song is AWESOME.

It's in Dreamfall: The Longest Journey's attract mode.
The video is a fanmade mix of Dreamfall and the original Longest Journey, though. I can't for the life of me find an actual video of it on YouTube. >>
