Yeah, I was just about to say that so Ninja'd I suppose.mogul said:Surprise, PSN already has all of these features (see master and sub accounts) for free.
okay for my family a big no and a rip offDemon ID said:I was thinking about that, get four mates together and you could potentially save money. Ahh I don't trust it though, their will be an insane catch.Cpt Corallis said:That could be very interesting and i can definitely see it getting used by students, maybe not families so much.
Does anyone know whether all of the accounts have to stay on the same console as well, otherwise I can see some abuse of the deal to get cheaper subscriptions.
Take Halo3 for example, guests can sign in and play online using split screen, but only on social playlists. This would allow, say, my son and myself play Team swat or snipers ranked matches together instead of just social slayer.Jumplion said:Yeah, I was just about to say that so Ninja'd I suppose.mogul said:Surprise, PSN already has all of these features (see master and sub accounts) for free.
And why can't they just sign in as guests? I'm really asking, I have no idea how the users thing works with the 360 as I've always just played as a guest on my friends 360 before.
I love our collective refusal to believe microsoft is just being nice. I bet we have to sell our souls or something, perhaps give our first born to them. I just know their will be a catch, their always is.duchaked said:okay for my family a big no and a rip offDemon ID said:I was thinking about that, get four mates together and you could potentially save money. but for me and the 3 others in the apartment...hmm not bad
except yeah Microsoft...what're y'all trying to pull this time...
Alright, I suppose it's an interesting deal, but as mogul and I said before, PSN has done this from the very begining for free. And don't you already have to pay a LIVE Subscription fee for each account in addition to this subscription? So with 4 Gold memberships ($20 startup fee) + the Family pack ($100) wouldn't it technically be $120? Or am I misunderstanding the payment plan?imgunagitusucka said:Take Halo3 for example, guests can sign in and play online using split screen, but only on social playlists.
