I'm currently working on a big castle, nothing too impressive. it actually looks a lot like the ones you see in WoW.
due to a serious lack of creativity I build a skull fortress with a lava moat (yes, I know, thank you!) It looks pretty cool in the dark when I'm standing on the walls of my castle though.
I did have the bright idea to build the castle around my spawnpoint, so that I wouldn't have to travel for 10 minutes everytime I died, just to get back to my home base.
other things I've built include a big ass tower with walls around it and an aqueduct coming down from a hill, leading water through the courtyard of that tower. there's also a desert fort somewhere and I've spent the rest of my time exploring the world and building smaller towers to run to when I die and end up wandering around at night.
coming back to that castle: I've got quite a bit of space left within the walls. anyone got any cool ideas on what to do with it?
