Mounted combat sounds, tricky to say the least.

For some reason using two analog sticks, two triggers and mashin 'A' at the same time isn't intuative to me at all.

Zombies only on single player? :(

Paying for DLC?
With any luck Rockstar's track record on this will improve (Totally loved BoGT, was kinda miffed with LaD) and they will be worth the £10 a pop.

Nope, game's shit online, and one of the reasons it's shit is the griefing (the other being that there's fuck all to do, because the multi modes are dead because everyone treats the free roam like one big deathmatch). Asking for paid DLC to a: fix something that should be in a fucking patch and b: make the multiplayer not shit is not going to fly. No sir.

As cool as zombies are, I think the thing I'm most excited for is the addition of Red Dead Revolver characters (even if it does mean that everyone's just going to be playing as Red Harlow.)

Hopefully the anti griefing measure means that if they want to just shoot everyone up they have to go to an actual deathmatch instead of shooting at anything with a name above it.

I think I'm the only one that is disappointed by this. Zombies in RDR? Seriously? Can't they think of anything more original than just dropping zombies into it?

Now don't get me wrong, I love my zombies as much as anybody. I've tons of time dumped into dead rising, and am eager to pick up dead rising 2, but I think that zombies shouldn't be thrown willy nilly into every game.

Man, I must be getting old, because I'm actually starting to give a damn about cohesive and coherent thought within games.

"Next up is the Free Roam Pack, featuring new Free Roam challenges, "action areas and defensive placements," posse scoring and leaderboards and the addition of new anti-griefing measures"

I can't help but think it'll be free just because anti-griefing measures seem just standard, they don't seem like something you should pay for.

The zombies thing though, I think it'll be very tricky to do right, but if it is done right it may end up being the next Nazi Zombies. Still, and despite my brother owning the game, I'll buy the pack.

Ooooo, nifty, I loved the Co-Op pack in Red Dead Redemption, and zombies only makes it even sweeter.

[sup]also, posting this from my new computer! Yay me![/sup]

Yawn.

Have they added a mission where you push the DeLorian up to 88mph yet? That's the only thing that could bring me back to this game.

Well if they put a price on free-roam a lot of people will be split up.

Sounds great though. Red Dead is such a fun game ^_^

Damn, I was hoping it would be free a-la Outlaws to the End. 10 dollars means it's going to be $20 on NZ PSN, sadface :(
How much was the gta4 dlc in NZ then?
I?m actually impressed by the price especially after the ridiculously overpriced gta4 dlc which I?m guessing didn?t sell as well as they expected. A 10 is more around the price I?m comfortable paying for dlc. It sounds like these are going to have more to offer too.

Can't quite remember, I think it was retailing in stores for about 60-70 bucks when it first came out. Generally as a rule of thumb you just double the price that's on the US stores and that's our cost, which is curious because the Currency exchange is something like .70 to the dollar.
