Most Bizzare Game Ending?

Halo itself had a good ending. The immediate threat was resolved (the flood, covenant fleet) and the heroes seemed to have a glimer of hope for the future. Very much a Star Wars episode IV: A New Hope - you could end the series there and you have an acceptable beginning and end. Halo 2 ended much the same way as Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back (or the second matrix) where you pick up where you left off and things just get worse and worse for the heroes, ending at their darkest hour.grunt-4-life said:

That was undoubtably a freaky ending. Those giant babies had no genitalia.
I personally haven't played many games with wierd endings, the closest I can think of was The Darkness's, which was actually pretty trippy now that I sort of remember it.

The ending of No More Heroes. There is actually a cliffhanger, followed by a character saying "Too bad there won't be a sequel." Luckily they are working on a sequel.
The end of MGS2 for just sheer confusion it caused me. Although I think it makes a little bit more sense now.

Well mabey but before I bought halo 2 I new there was going to be a halo 3, which is why it was a cliff hanger ending, and if you realy need to know what happened between halo 2 and 3, read the crappy graphic novels bungie released they explain it all.grunt-4-life said:
Also wierdest ending for me was Crackdown, It had no proper ending just the voice guy saying "all the gangs are dead the end" ... at least thats how I felt.

4. They went for a morality/destiny play and it didn't work out, they admitted as much and are fixing it. Personally I don't see the problem with that. I think we'd all love to be so lucky to be able to amend our less-than-spectacular endings.
Apparently nobody got to them on the idea of a second game in time initially, though reports are coming in that they may finally be working on it. A sequel was always planned, at the very least.Kyuumi said:

I just finished Fallout 3 and (without spoiling it) I thought the ending was good in a narrative sense it's a terrible ending for an open world game. The only big disappointment I had with it. That and the invisible walls.
