Do you remember one day when you were watching the news like any other day and they put on a report about something that made you actually sit up and listen. Maybe it was funny, or disturbing, or just really interesting. Tell us what it was about and why you actually listened to it.

The report I sat up on was this one where this high schooler was in a basketball game and they had only two seconds to play. So the guy rebounds the ball and imedeately shoots the ball the minute it lands in his hand. It was a full-court shot and, oh yea, he swished it. His team won the game (big suprise).

There was that interview on BBC News where they accidentally brought on someone there for a job interview and asked him questions on the political state of the country. That was amusing.

As for your opening post, why not answer the question yourself, give us an example?

I think he thought it was part of his interview. Well done to him though.

at one point, a dead body was delivered to a pet store instead of a shipment of fish. they opened up the box, and well...there was a dead guy. Not fish. It was a local story, too.

If I find the link, ill post it.

i doubt it does, but i think the time where A female news anchor who, the day after it was supposed to have snowed and didn't, turned to the weatherman and asked, 'So Bob, where's that eight inches you promised me last night?' Not only did HE have to leave the set, but half the crew did too, because they were laughing so hard!

I once saw a newbie correspondent mispronouncing the name of the person he was supposed to interview three times in a row. Following this, he briefly touched his earpiece, then informed us that "he could go now". He got fired, live, on national television, in the middle of an interview.

Ouch.

Haha The IT Crowd done a parody of that in their show. Shame i cant find a clip its brilliant. The Reporter is asking him serious questions on Iraq and hes trying to tell everyone about a bra he invented.

Anything posted by the North Korean News Agency.

The following is a typical day:

Kim Jong Il visits 3 farms and 2 factories, receiving praise from the workers.
Kim Jong Il personally thwarted a military strike by the tyrant United States and South Korea.
Swedish and Cuban leaders praise Kim Jong Il and send him gifts.
Kim Jong Il got his regular 10 holes in one in his round of golf.

Pretty impressive for one days work I must say.

What is scarier though, the fact they are posting this stuff or the fact that they believe it?
