Most Top-10 Titles See Sales Dip In U.K.
Only one game in the U.K. top 10 witnessed a sales increase in the last week of 2007.
Konami's Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 jumped from the 13th spot to the 6th spot, and another soccer title, FIFA 08 missed the top sales spot by only 1,000 units.
That number-one rank went to Assassin's Creed, and even that title saw a sales drop of 7 percent compared to the prior week.
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare took a greater hit, seeing a 37 percent decline in sales and slipping from No. 1 to No. 3.
The Simpsons Game fell by 24 percent, dropping one spot to No. 4, whereas Need for Speed Pro Street maintained its No. 5 position despite a 23 percent sales drop.
Also registering in the U.K.'s top 10 for the last week of the year:
THQ's WWE Smackdown Vs Raw 2008 at seven, Nintendo's More Brain Training at eight, Activision's Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock at nine and Sega's The Golden Compass at 10.
