so I was looking at wikipidia for some data on god of war and supposedly there's movie for it coming out and I was board so I looked up video game movies on google and wikipiadia came up and it had a list of of video game movies coming out soon I would make a shortcut there but I have to use the wii to go online and can't make a shortcut but if you get a chance you should look it up some of them are horrible ideas i.e. sims 3-d spyro and shadow of the colusus post what you think of the list enjoy.

I don't see how Shadow of The Colossus could make a movie.
There's almost no story and dialoge in the game. I do think that Ico could make an interesting movie, but still best not to try.

Until Neil Blokampp who proved himself with the 8min Halo short film and District 9 is put back onto doing Halo i shall be forever disappointed. (unless a truly amazing Fallout film is released.....i will settle even for a Part 2 of the Half-life live action short)

most games -> movies need more of a plot b/c if you think about it most games to movies are going to fps cuz most of the population will reconize the title and they will make more money and b/c they are fps most likly they will need a plot of better proportions then the game.
People need to stop thinking so narrowly: there is no reason there can't be a great movie based on a game. Some video games tell amazing stories, but for some reason, they never actually hire good people to make the movies. I was going through that list and seeing games that could make decent movies, but they're hiring the same people that made crappy game movies in the past. LEARN FROM YOUR MISTAKES, YOU IDIOTS.
OT: I would see a Sims movie for one reason and one reason only: if the entire movie is in Simlish, with subtitles. That would be amazing.
I had high hopes for the Prince of Persia movie, then I heard they weren't doing a direct adaptation. What idiot decided we wanted to see some crappy spin-off? The Sands of TIme would make an amazing film! Some on, people!

Gears of War could be a fantastic war film.
Halo would be amazing if they get the right people. Well, they already had the right people, but if someone else really good takes it on.
