My phone still thinks I'm in Korea (help me)

So I went on a trip to Korea last month, and despite having been home for some time, my phone occasionally still thinks I'm there. Sometimes when I google things, the results come out in Korean, although this is easily sorted out with the translate function of Chrome. The real annoying shit is that in Korea, YouTube videos that have an age restriction cannot be viewed until you confirm you are 19 years or older. For some bizarre reason, this needs to be done through phone, and I obviously don't have access to a Korean number. Besides not being able to view certain videos, I can't download videos anymore.

Anyone know what I can do? I've already manually set my location in the YouTube app to where I live.

Also, Jesus I didn't know YouTube was this bad in other countries. Age restrictions, crap tons of ads, and YouTube Premium to download videos? Bleh, I don't know what makes my country special for not having them but I sure am glad.

Yup I've done all of those I forgot to mention, despite leaving my laptop at home, even on there google results would occasionally be in Korean.

Idk if a phone reset would even help since it might just start again when you load google. I would have thought clearing the history would have done it but idk what to tell you if that didn't work.

No I meant you have to give them your phone number, which I assume will lead to some kind of age verification system. But yeah, I don't have a Korean cellphone.

Hmm... Have you tried completely signing out of your Google Account on your phone and every Google app if necessary, then signing back in? I'm thinking this is something on Google's end. Clearing app caches can also work. You may have to look into your Google Account settings and see if they've done anything because of South Korean law and paranoia.

Nah man, it's linked to phone numbers and citizen ID numbers. They have a pretty hard government lockdown on internet access.
