My major concern right now though is how if I can't link to PSN, they could possibly patch it.

I haven't turned on my 60GB PS3 in a couple of days. Anybody think it'll be okay if I disconnect it from the router first? Like, literally unplugging the cable?

Do you have one of the backward compatible to PS2 versions? I'm wondering if this is happening to all fat ones. The only dif between all fat ones and slims I can think of is that the slims can't be run on another operating system (Linux). The big dif between old fats and new is the PS2 compatibility.

Now I'm afraid to play some Heavy Rain when I get home.

It won't make a difference, from what I can see its a problem with the calander on the PS3, a software issue rather than a problem with the Network itself. I've seen some twitters and forum post saying that their PS3's are bunk even though they're not connected to the web.

No matter what DO NOT play any game with trophies on it, even if it will run. I tested this error with Borderlands and it completely wiped all my trophies out. Now, I could care less about these silly things, but I know that people will kill themselves to obtain these sparkly things. So, just wait out the storm or you may be crying!

There isn't a single game I can play, I don't have any demos left because I deleted them for space, and games I've bought form PSN like Mega Man 9 aren't working.

Eh, I already got my optimal build for DPS. I need a good tank build and equips, though. Then I can respec into a tank as needed.

I suggest you do some quests then. Try scoring high on the D&D quiz (cheating is allowed), or perhaps give constructive criticism to user reviews.

That should earn you some good starter-tank gear. Then you can move on to heavier dungeons, like Forum Games, and later we can traverse into Religion and Politics. If you are prepared, that is.
