N. Korea Threatens USA

It is gonna be hard to try and take out North Korea, if you try to take them out, they could fire the Nukes, if you put them in a difficult position, they could fire the Nukes, dont take North Korea lightly, as long as they have Nukes, they are a major threat.

They have nukes, but they aren't very powerful and can't fit them to missiles. The best they could do would be to try smuggling one in on a ship and lighting it off. Not real likely.

If they threaten a country like the US, then they must have the ability to fire a Nuke at the US because if not, then why threaten the US if they cant attack them???

Has anyone asked the obvious question - Why aren't Korea ALLOWED Nukes? we have em, america has em and so on and so forth, if every one but the UK for instance didn't have Nukes would it be fair to say that we don't "deserve" them, we've bullied them for too long, let them at least stand equal - see Swords v Guns topic?

What Qualifies us to have WMD's and not them, are we more responsible? i think history would beg to differ.

Because North Korea threatens to use them when they dont get their way? And is likely to use them on Seoul?

No one wants another war with a country (North Korea) in control of Nukes, North Korea is alone, America will have a lot of support.

Because they're bluffing. A fledgling nuke program couldn't take out South Korea, much less the entire united states. They can launch regular ballistic missiles our way, but they'd never hit.

No, because nukes aren't a way to get money..... listen to yourself, you want a country to have nukes that will -use- them? Thank you ChosenLord for pointing out what I do every time this stuff crops up, why shouldn't North Korea be allowed to be armed just like your nation is? Loremazd and his arguement of 'but they threaten to use them' is redundant, you don't have nukes so you can stockpile them and pull the ladies, you have them so you can threaten to use them. No one ever wants to use nukes, it destroys valuable stuff that you could capture with expendable infantry.

North Korea will use nukes to attack South Korea if they get them. By saying that you are for North Korea having nukes, you're pretty much saying you're for nukes being used. They've already made it perfectly clear that they care more about the nuclear program than the countries economy or it's own people.

They threatened to wipe the US off the globe, saying stuff like that gets you invaded, no one makes a bluff like that unless they have a plan and remember the Cuban Missile Crisis??? Missiles can be put in range. It is time for the US to call North Korea's bluff.

You're damned right I don't want North Korea to have nukes. They're a rogue nation and their leadership is potentially crazy enough to first-strike with them. The stockpiles of the other nuclear powers are generally for deterrance: the idea that if you have more rocket-powered penis extensions than the other guy, they won't be willing to use theirs.

The U.S. is to big too wipe away. And besides, as soon as the U.S. detects a missile launch from North Korea it'll either blow the sucker out of the sky or launch several nukes of its own. If the latter happens then we're all screwed.
