This just about sums up the reality of it.Thingo said:Doing advanced math for fun...? Just... No... That's not even possible for me.
I would be more interested in NASA doing research on how playing social video games while in the near-total isolation of space affects the near-inevitable mental disorders that result from being deprived of social contact.CantFaketheFunk said:In an effort to get more young people interested in space and science,
Yeah, that game was pretty hardcore. I must admit that I played most of the time in "tutorial mode", where the game would automatically jump to the specific screens and highlight the buttons you needed to switch. But I still had alot of fun with it. Deploying a satellite with the shuttle arm was great, and my first spacewalk was an awesome experience. I actually got goosebumps during the spacewalk, watching in first person mode at the shuttle in the emptiness of space with planet earth in the distance.nikki191 said:wow i thought i was the only one who remembered and loved that shuttle game. dear god i have never played a game as complicated as that. 6ft x 3ft poster detailing all the controls in the cockpit is something ive never forgotten
