Reminds me of when we found out that the Revolution would be called the 'Wii'
Why won't people just keep the code names that they've put out already?

*sigh* I understand why they're doing this, so that they can try and steal the casual market from Nintendo, but when they make sooooo much money from Live and being ahead in the 'hardcore gaming' race, doesn't this just seem a tad greedy?
Greed for them is just business as usual.
It should be amusing to watch the market deviate from a hundred clone-shooters every year to a hundred copy-waggle games each year.

Like Google Wave?

If they wanted to do something like Mario-Wario they should have named it Wove (For Sony's Move).

Is anyone else in favor of burning every ad agency to the ground and passing a law requiring all products to be named with serial numbers?

People just hate everything here I guess.

Neither name strikes me as particularly catchy but I guess it gets the job done.

They could call it 'Super Ultra Mega Best Thing Ever' and I still wouldn't buy it.
What if they called it, "The product formerly known as natal"? And just had a symbol for it?

I would still not buy it, but would shout out loud that Purple Rain, Rasberry Beret and the Batman soundtrack were far better than anything off 'Emancipation'.

£102?? That's almost as much as the actual 360 console, they can't be serious.

And why bother advertising it as Project Natal at the gaming conventions etc if you're just going to call it Wave?

Whats the deal with oversimplifying the names of everything nowadays.

When I was a child stuff had complicated names and we didn't complain, it was all high concept stuff but the names where strange, now everything is monosyllabalic.

Hold on, i have a perfectly good floor I can roll around on.

ROFL
Hold on a minute. Let me see if I understand this. You move around so the cameras can start capturing your movements, then you wave your arms around to start playing the game, which leads to you peeing? Man, if that happened to anyone they should get their bladder checked.

Eew.

Childishness a time, I was under the assumption that Natal would be it's proper name, but wave is much better.
Ah, hahaha! good one!

couldn't have thought that up better myself.
